Case Studies

How we approach real lifting and recovery challenges — from planning to closeout.

Note for site owner: these are placeholder case studies with generic scenarios and stock imagery. Replace them with genuine Elevate projects (with client permission) and real photos before using them as marketing claims.

Selected Project Examples

Each example below follows the same path we take on every job: understand the challenge, plan the lift, and execute it safely.

  • Rooftop HVAC Change-Out — placeholder project photoCommercial

    Rooftop HVAC Change-Out

    Challenge
A commercial building needed a failed rooftop unit removed and a new one set over an occupied space with limited street-side set-up room.
    Approach
Scoped the pick around the heaviest unit and the farthest reach, planned set-up and clearances, and sequenced removal and placement in one visit.
    Outcome
Old unit removed and new unit set on the existing curb, coordinated with the mechanical contractor for tie-in.
  • Tree Off A Home After A Storm — placeholder project photoStorm Recovery

Tree Off A Home After A Storm

    Challenge
A large tree came down across a residential roof, under tension and hard to reach from the yard.
    Approach
Lifted heavy trunk sections straight up with the crane rather than dragging, relieving load on the structure while a tree crew sectioned.
    Outcome
Tree removed with the roof stabilized for the restoration contractor to begin repairs.
  • Vessel Recovery At A Marina — placeholder project photoMarine

    Vessel Recovery At A Marina

    Challenge
Storm surge pushed a boat onto a dock, leaving it stranded and blocking a slip.
    Approach
Planned a controlled lift around the hull's weight and lift points, with a safe crane set-up near the water's edge.
    Outcome
Vessel lifted and repositioned for haul-out and inspection, coordinated with the marina and owner.
  • Plant Equipment Change-Out — placeholder project photoIndustrial

    Plant Equipment Change-Out

    Challenge
A facility needed heavy process equipment removed and replaced within a tight shutdown window.
    Approach
Booked the window in advance, planned congested set-up and precise placement, and staged both units for an efficient swap.
    Outcome
Change-out completed inside the shutdown window so the unit returned to service on schedule.
